Wedding dresses are generously gifted by those who know, understand, or couples who would like to provide a token of support by sharing some of the love and happiness they received on their special day.
We hope the beautiful gowns and keepsake hearts created by our volunteers with such love will help provide a little comfort now and throuout your future too.

all of our gowns come with a matching heart for parents to keep as a tangiable reminder of their angel baby and a Billy or Sam bear to travel with them.
Size
We create these beautiful bereavement gowns in 4 sizes:
- Micro - 1.5 to 2.5 lbs
- Tiny - 2 to 4 lbs
- Preemie - 3 to 6 lbs
- Newborn - 5 to 8 lbs
Style
Since all the materials used for our gowns are donated, we cannot guarantee colour or pattern. Instead we provide the following style options of Angel Gown:
- Girl - using the embelishments from donated wedding dresses, we are able to create a little sparkle and femininity to create gorgeous gowns for your baby girl
- Boy - these gowns are made with waistcoat and bow-tie from additional donated material, creating a suit style for handsome lads
- Plain - for those who prefer something a little more traditional, or gender-neutral, we have plain gowns as well
Tommy Pockets
These beautiful little sleeping bags are created for angels born earlier/smaller than expected and enter the world under 1.5 LB.
Named after the tiny premature son of one of our Directors these also come with a matching heart for parents to keep as a tangiable reminder of their precious baby and a Sam or Billy bear as a travelling companion for your little one.

Hi, i got married 5 weeks ago and wasn't really sure what to do with my dress. It wouold be so lovely if you were able to to use it to make gowns for babies born sleeping.

Due to the nature of the moment and timescales involved, our gowns are usually provided directly to Funeral directors, Maternity, Neonatal wards etc.
Should you need any help or would like to request gowns please complete the form below or contact us at angelgowns@oakleystitchers.org.uk as soon as possible
We cannot guarantee gowns will be with individuals in the timescales needed, so please ask your support team as a first port of call, to see if they stock them. If they don't and would like to, please ask them to contact us on the email below.
When we receive your request we will respond as soon as possible.
Please note,
We are not currently accepting Wedding dresses due to such an overwhelming amount of kindness and generosity in the last few months!
Once we have caught up and have space again, we will reopen our list.
